The plant stick:

The heart and flag shaped plant sticks are made from reclaimed aluminum and are attached with wire or small nails to an unfinished wood dowel. A wood bead finial tops off the plant stick.

The plant sticks could easily be used as a cake topper, just wrap the bottom of the stick in saran wrap to avoid staining the wooden dowel.
